We are now halfway through 2025! It certainly has been a busy six months here at The Purim Trust!
We had an incredible time at Grace & Faith and were blown away yet again by the support from people saying yes to help change the lives of children and women in the Philippines. You can read all about it below!
We also have some exciting job opportunities to share, and we are delighted to welcome a new member to the Purim team!

We are getting closer and closer to being able to start our very first course of our Women’s Training Programme!
At Grace & Faith, we had 13 Women’s Training sponsored! We are so grateful to the Sponsors who have stepped up to invest in these Mothers and their families.
The women taking part in this programme are the Mothers of our Sponsor Children and we are excited for how the training will equip them with skills and qualifications to bring their families one step closer to self-sufficiency.
We still need more support before we can officially start the first course, which will be dressmaking.
And here’s all the ways you can help:
Sponsor a Mother’s training – For £42 a month, you can Sponsor the training of a Mother and help her on her journey towards self-sufficiency, by covering the costs involved with gaining a qualification which includes the materials needed, transportation to and from the training, and administrative costs to run the project.
Partner with this project – for a monthly contribution of any amount, you’ll cover the costs involved with overseeing, growing and developing this project, and coordinating the students.
Fund a sewing machine – the first course we will be doing is dressmaking, and we want to gift every Mother a sewing machine upon successful completion of the course. This will enable her to start working and earning money straight away! You can either fully fund a sewing machine for £187 or donate any amount to contribute towards a sewing machine.
Make a donation – give a one off amount that will be used to establish this new project and help us support even more women.

This year it will cost just £21 to send one young person to summer camp.
For just £21, you can support a young person’s entire camp experience, which will include:
– Transportation to and from the camp
– Accomodation (Youth Camp only)
– Meals
– Exciting activities

We are so excited to welcome our newest member to the team – Anabela Correia!
She has joined as our new Child Sponsorship Assistant. She will be facilitating communication between Sponsors and their Sponsor Children, as well as assisting with other admin tasks.
Anabela has previously worked with Andrew Wommack Ministries and brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience.
We are so incredibly blessed and excited to have her join the Purim family!

We have several priority children who urgently need Sponsors.
Priority children are often the ones in greatest need or have been waiting the longest for a Sponsor.

For £32 per month, you will ensure they receive three meals a day, vitamins, health checks, supplies, support from a local church, and everything they need to go to school.

Did you know that by adding Gift Aid to your donations, it would mean that for every £1 you give/and have given in the past, we can claim an extra 25p from HMRC.
So your £10 donation becomes £12.50, without you spending a penny more!
This means your donations will have an even greater impact in our work helping families living in poverty in the Philippines.
