These moments of joy and dignity mean more than you may ever realise, and we are deeply grateful for the support that has helped make them possible. This year, we need your help This year, we’re facing a shortfall in our Christmas Appeal. To help us bridge the gap, we’re inviting supporters to give a small monthly gift for four months, from September to December. Because Christmas gifts are now included within our Sponsorship amounts, and because this change only began in April, not every child is covered yet. There are also wider costs involved in making Christmas meaningful for the children and their families that are not covered by Sponsorship. That’s why we’re reaching out in gratitude and hope to ask whether you, or even your business, could give a small monthly donation for four months. Just a short burst of support to help us bridge the gap and ensure every child receives something special this Christmas. There is no commitment beyond the four months, and once December is complete, you are completely free to cancel your monthly donation. Looking ahead to Christmas 2027 If you would like to continue giving beyond December, your ongoing monthly donation will help us begin preparing for Christmas 2027, including our hope to provide additional Christmas meals for families alongside gifts for the children. Your donation will help us make Christmas special for the children in our Sponsorship Programme. Funds raised through our Christmas Appeal help towards Christmas gifts for the children and, where funds allow, special Christmas meals for families, alongside the wider costs of making Christmas a memorable occasion. Why is additional Christmas funding needed? Christmas gifts are now included within our Sponsorship amounts, but this change only began in April 2026. This means not every child is fully covered this year. There are also additional costs involved in our Christmas activities that are not covered through Sponsorship, which is why we are asking for additional support this Christmas. Why are you asking for monthly donations for four months? Giving a smaller amount each month from September to December helps us bridge this year’s funding gap while spreading the cost for supporters. Your monthly gifts during these four months will help us prepare for Christmas and ensure as many children as possible receive something special. Do I have to continue donating after December? No. There is no commitment to continue beyond the four months. Once December is complete, you are free to cancel your monthly donation. Can I make a one-off donation instead? Yes. If you would prefer to make a one-off gift towards our Christmas Appeal, you can do so. Every donation, whether one-off or monthly, will help us deliver HOPE this Christmas. What happens if you raise more than is needed? We are raising funds to help make Christmas special for the children and families we support, including providing Christmas gifts and, where funds allow, special Christmas meals.
