The Power of a Partner

On the 24th of this month we will be celebrating our third birthday as a charity. In our first year, we were able to see around 65 children sponsored. Now we have 120 children sponsored. Over the last three years we have been so blessed to see such growth in this charity- both in the number of children being sponsored and in the support of sponsors and partners.

But what is the key factor in seeing any kind of growth? It’s a seed! Anything that grows in life and continues to grow and prosper, always starts with a humble seed. How amazing is it that something so small can produce something that will grow and change, and eventually go on to have an impact on its environment.

This charity started with a seed. It started with a vision to do something about the hardship and severe poverty that saw children fighting to survive each day. It started with seeing a solution to children living in slums having to pick and eat the scraps from food thrown out by restaurants. It started with seeing that every child could receive the education they need in order to progress themselves out of poverty. It started with seeing a helping hand extended to children and families to lift them out of poverty for good.

Did you know that whenever you give to or support someone’s vision, you become a partner with them in that vision. By giving, you are sowing seeds that will grow and support that vision to go further and do so much more. This is what it means to become a Purim Partner.  

When you become a partner with The Purim Trust, your monthly donations are ensuring that we can be that helping hand for every child and their family; that they can receive all they need to thrive. You are helping us invest into the lives of the next generation, which we believe will see the end of poverty for themselves and their families. As a partner, you are as much a part of this, as our charity workers on the ground who work with the children every day. We need your support to keep going, to grow further, and ultimately see the lives of more children changed. We have plans to expand and further our reach to support more children living in hardship, as well as implementing sustainable long-term projects for families to get out of poverty for good.

We could not be more grateful for all the support we have already received from every Donor, Sponsor, and Partner over these last three years. But we have plans to do so much more and make a greater impact than ever before, and to do this we need more people like you to join alongside us.
