Helping mothers build a future beyond Sponsorship

Our heart is not only to meet a family’s needs today, but to help create a pathway towards a different future. Through training, recognised qualifications and practical skills, we want to equip mothers of our sponsored children to access better employment opportunities or start their own businesses, enabling them to earn an income and provide for their families.

Our hope is that, as families move towards self-sufficiency, they will eventually no longer need Sponsorship — allowing that support to reach another family in need.

Help a family move forward

“We are truly thankful for this opportunity and for the people who continuously support this program. Your generosity is not only teaching us skills, but also giving us hope, confidence, and a chance for a better future for our families.

FAQs

Our current programme provides dressmaking training. As the programme grows, we hope to expand into other areas of vocational training, with mothers already expressing interest in skills such as beauty and welding. Our aim is to provide practical routes towards employment, income and greater self-sufficiency.

No. Funds are pooled to support the programme as a whole. Your sponsorship covers the training of one woman taking part, rather than being allocated to a particular individual.

Or you could Sponsor Children or College Students

Yes. Once a woman completes her dressmaking training, we want to equip her with a sewing machine and workstation so she has the tools to put her skills into practice and begin earning an income. You can fund a machine through our Sewing Machine Appeal.

We’ll keep you connected through regular updates from the programme, sharing progress, stories and the impact your support is helping to make.

Absolutely. Businesses can support the programme in a number of ways, including funding sewing machines and equipment. Visit our Sewing Machine Appeal or contact us to discuss how your business could get involved.

Yes. You can make a donation and allow us to direct your gift where it is most needed (link to Donate page), or you can choose to support one of our current appeals.
