I want to help women FAQs Will I be matched with one child? No. Our Sponsorship Programme works through Location Project Sponsorship, which means you are sponsoring children within a chosen location rather than being matched with one individual child. When you become a Sponsor, you can choose which Location Project you would like to support, and your monthly Sponsorship is pooled with other Sponsorship funds for that location. This enables us to provide consistent and fair support to the children within the project. Alternatively, you can choose Where the Need Is Greatest, giving us the flexibility to direct your Sponsorship funds to the Location Project with the most urgent need at that time. Or you could Sponsor A Student or a Mother What does £32 a month provide? Your £32 monthly Sponsorship helps us provide children within the Sponsorship Programme with: Three meals a day Full-time education and school supplies Health and dental checks Vitamins and minerals Support from a local church A birth certificate, where necessary Your Sponsorship is pooled with other Sponsorship funds within the Location Project, helping us provide this ongoing care and support to the children collectively. How often will I hear from the project? You will receive two Sponsorship updates each year, sharing news and progress from the children within the Sponsorship Programme and helping you see the difference your support is making. Throughout the year, you will also receive our newsletters, with wider updates on the work and activities of The Purim Trust, stories of impact, news from our programmes and words of encouragement. This way, you can stay connected not only with the impact of your Sponsorship, but with the wider work and vision of The Purim Trust. Can I write to a child? As our Sponsorship Programme now operates through Location Project Sponsorship, Sponsors are no longer matched with an individual child and we therefore no longer offer individual letter writing between Sponsors and children. You will, however, continue to hear from the Sponsorship Programme through your twice-yearly Sponsorship updates, as well as receiving wider news and stories from The Purim Trust throughout the year. How long should I sponsor? Sponsorship provides ongoing support, so we encourage Sponsors to continue for as long as they are able. Regular, consistent Sponsorship helps us plan ahead and provide stability and ongoing support for the children within our Location Projects. We understand that circumstances can change, and you can contact us at any time if you need to make changes to or end your Sponsorship. Can I send gifts to my Sponsor Child? Our Sponsorship Programme works through Location Project Sponsorship, so your support is shared across the children within your chosen Location Project rather than being connected to one individual child. You can still give something extra throughout the year. Additional contributions can be made towards Christmas gifts and meals, birthday celebrations, Youth Camp and other special needs or opportunities for the children. These additional gifts help us bless and support children across our Sponsorship Programme and ensure that children within our Location Projects can benefit fairly. Prefer to support an appeal?
