Select your currency GBP EUR USD From a Kitchen Table, HOPE Began to Grow In 2018, The Purim Trust began at a kitchen table — just Esther and her dad, a laptop, and a shared conviction shaped by the children she had met in the Philippines. There was no office, no systems and no donor base. Just a belief that even if we couldn’t help everyone, we could help someone — and that helping someone mattered. From that kitchen table, HOPE began to grow. One child sponsored. Then another. Then ten. Then one hundred. Each step forward has been built on relationships, trust and a determination to walk alongside families with dignity and care. Look How Far HOPE Has Reached Today, because of the faithfulness of our supporters, more than 300 children and young people are staying in school, graduating and moving towards brighter futures, while mothers are gaining qualifications and building greater stability for their families. What began as a small act of compassion has become a growing community of HOPE — one child, one mother, one family at a time. But there are still so many stories waiting to be heard. We believe we are called to be a voice for these children and families — sharing their stories, championing their potential and connecting them with people who can stand alongside them. Your donation will help towards the practical costs of expanding our reach, including conferences and events, visits to our programmes in the Philippines, international outreach, website and digital development, and essential operational tools. Why are conferences and international outreach important? We believe we are called to be a voice for the children and families we support. Conferences and outreach give us opportunities to share their stories, raise awareness, build meaningful relationships and connect with people who may choose to stand alongside our work. Why do you need funding for visits to the Philippines? Being present in the communities we support is an important part of our work and our due diligence in overseeing the projects we support. These visits allow us to meet with children and families, listen to their experiences, carry out safeguarding checks and see first-hand how our projects are operating, helping us ensure they are being run responsibly and providing the support intended. Can I make a one-off or monthly donation? Yes. You can choose to make either a one-off gift or give monthly towards our International Outreach Appeal. What happens if you raise more than is needed? We are raising funds to strengthen and expand the international outreach of The Purim Trust.
